That card does indeed work with both Vista and Windows 7 (the card I'm using actually). Belkin does supply a driver for Vista, though it didn't work for me in Vista or Windows 7 (and they said the exact same thing about engineers working on the problem when the Vista driver first came out). The actual answer to this is to use the MS supplied Atheros Wireless Network Adapter driver.

Anyway it was a broadcom driver. When i had started windows it was going terribly slow and i didnt know why. Like even the mouse was moving in big chunks so i decided to uninstall the network adapter. That worked and it was back to speed. Still i was not connected to the internet.
After much trial and error i found the broadcom 802.11g driver to work wonderfully (by wonderfully i mean it didnt destroy my computer) anyway thanks for all of the help.
